Ammolite
Information About Ammolite: A natural stone consisting of mineralized fossil shell. Ammolite is only found int southern Alberta, Canada.
COMMON GEM COLORS: Usually a combination of colors, including blue, green, red. Appearance of stone may vary widely, and can sometimes look much like Labradorite, sometimes like Opal.
HARDNESS ON MOH'S SCALE:
SHAPES FOR CUTTING: In doublet or triplet form, suitable for cutting to all standard cabochon shapes. Often used in polished freeform shapes.
